About Us

The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low-and middle-income countries, while strengthening the capabilities of governments and the private sector in those countries to create and sustain high-quality health systems that can succeed without our assistance. Evidence Action is a global nonprofit organization that scales evidence-based and cost-effective programs to reduce the burden of poverty. We bridge the gap between research about what works and solutions for people in need, to effectively serve hundreds of millions of people in the world’s poorest places. We currently operate in India, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Liberia. For more information, visit evidenceaction.org.
Jeffrey D. Klausner, MD MPH directs a research group housed in the world renown Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Klausner and his team of public health researchers, scientists, and students study the prevention and control of infectious diseases through several projects locally and globally in South Africa, Peru, Botswana, Vietnam, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The underlying theme in their work is addressing global health injustice with the use of technology to facilitate access to treatment for disadvantaged populations.
